Initially our technical team will work with you to understand any existing or historical data available on a location by location basis. This allows us to develop a transparent fee proposal including an agreed tolerance for asset types and quantities.

Where the project includes a number of geographic locations, our in-house schedulers will identify the best placed available surveyors and develop the most efficient travel plan to limit surveying time and travel.

Upon proposal acceptance, we will appoint a dedicated Project Manager (PM) to manage all aspects of the project. The PM will work with the stakeholders to agree content of the weekly performance dashboard, commencement/completion dates and formulate the building access and PPE strategy.

At this stage, the PM will work in collaboration with our in-house resourcing team to mobilise the selected engineers and surveyors.

Moston utilises app based technology to capture assets and supporting photos, reducing overall asset capture time, in addition to increasing consistency and availability of real-time asset data. We also deploy manual capture tools where client sites or technologies require this. We align to all CAFM technologies and data capture methods.

Once the asset data is downloaded, we QA the data and transpose it into our standard asset register or a format preferred by the client. If needed, we can also include CIBSE life expectancy and estimated replacement costs based on SPONS. We can also provide the data in a format that can be used for CAFM uploading. Our asset hierarchy is typically based on SFG20 asset types although this can be tailored to suite the clients requirements.
