Job Summary:
The Maintenance role at this site involves conducting electrical, mechanical, and building maintenance services under the guidance of the Maintenance Manager
Responsibilities include:
planned preventative maintenance
defect rectification
Routine maintenance
Supervision of contractors, and responding to reactive maintenance requests
The role requires compliance with safety rules, participation in on-call systems, and adherence to quality management systems
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Complete scheduled planned preventative maintenance
- Conduct preventative maintenance on machines and equipment
- Rectify defects, ensuring performance standards meet contractual requirements
- Carry out routine maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems
- Supervise specialist contractors and manage documentation
- Isolate and repair defective equipment, conduct risk assessments, and ensure good housekeeping
- Respond to reactive maintenance requests and assist third parties when required
- Participate in the on-call system, potentially becoming an authorized person
- Ensure compliance with safety rules and apply good engineering practices
- Demonstrate a multi-skilled background with knowledge of steam generation and HVAC systems
- Undertake company standard internal training workshops and adhere to relevant practices
- Manage allocated work orders from receipt to completion
- Provide progress updates on allocated work orders
- Adhere to department procedures and the Quality Management System
- Drive continuous improvement and value for money
- Willingly work in a secure and sensitive environment on an exclusively manned site

Attend internal and external training events, along with mandatory training on fire safety, information governance, and other requirements
