Job Summary:

The Maintenance role at this site involves conducting electrical, mechanical, and building maintenance services under the guidance of the Maintenance Manager


Responsibilities include:

planned preventative maintenance

defect rectification

Routine maintenance

Supervision of contractors, and responding to reactive maintenance requests

The role requires compliance with safety rules, participation in on-call systems, and adherence to quality management systems


Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Complete scheduled planned preventative maintenance
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on machines and equipment
  • Rectify defects, ensuring performance standards meet contractual requirements
  • Carry out routine maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems
  • Supervise specialist contractors and manage documentation
  • Isolate and repair defective equipment, conduct risk assessments, and ensure good housekeeping
  • Respond to reactive maintenance requests and assist third parties when required
  • Participate in the on-call system, potentially becoming an authorized person
  • Ensure compliance with safety rules and apply good engineering practices
  • Demonstrate a multi-skilled background with knowledge of steam generation and HVAC systems
  • Undertake company standard internal training workshops and adhere to relevant practices
  • Manage allocated work orders from receipt to completion
  • Provide progress updates on allocated work orders
  • Adhere to department procedures and the Quality Management System
  • Drive continuous improvement and value for money
  • Willingly work in a secure and sensitive environment on an exclusively manned site
