Job Overview

  • Provide professional technical service to client contract.
  • Responsible for delivery and execution of planned and reactive operational and maintenance tasks by engineering teams.
  • Support specialist sub-contractors/service providers and provide assistance with minor new works.
  • Offer proactive support to the FM team.


Responsibilities

  • Ensure strict adherence to processes and procedures, including completion of Company Documentation, Work Instructions, ISO Processes, COSHH Assessments, Risk Assessments, and Method Statements on a daily basis or as instructed.
  • Carry out PPMs and reactive work as directed by management team in liaison with the FM Coordination team.
  • Ensure all work is completed within required deadlines as dictated by KPI measures and/or management team.
  • Proactively report any requirement for parts, materials, or issues with work at the earliest opportunity.
  • Support and implement requirements to ensure all aspects of safety meet or exceed current legislation, company policy, and best practice guides.
  • Wear correct Uniform and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times and ensure it is in good serviceable condition.
  • Safely remove waste in all forms, keeping plant rooms and work areas clean, clear, and tidy at all times.
  • Ensure all actions raised during Audits relating to all areas of responsibility are acted upon.
  • Complete required documentation as specified in relevant standards and regulations.
  • Report any unsafe acts, incidents, or accidents immediately.
  • Support a safety culture and environment of operational excellence through continuous improvement and build an accident-free culture.
  • Complete any training as required and directed by management team within the required timeline.
  • Communicate with clients or customers in a professional manner.
  • Comply with expected standards of behaviour, respecting others and corporate values. Develop positive working relationships with colleagues to support a wider one-team approach.
  • Be flexible and assist others if they need assistance within capability.


Requirements

  • Must be of a Technical status and have a minimum of 3 years relevant post qualification experience, ideally NICEIC 18th.
  • Requires Government SC clearance or ability to achieve this.
  • Requirement to apply for DV STRAP.
  • Emergency First Aid certification.
  • Able to communicate effectively.
  • Able to write clearly and provide detailed notes.
  • Ability to use handheld devices for receiving, updating, and closing work orders.
  • Confidence to work frequently at height following all necessary health and safety procedures; this requires a good level of fitness to access required areas by ladders.
  • Writing and following risk and method statements required on a daily basis.
  • Manual handling experience.
  • Appreciation of industry safety standards and procedures.
  • Experience of working within a customer-focused environment.
  • Ability to read schematic and circuit diagrams.
  • Willingness to undertake further training.
  • Takes responsibilities for own actions.
