We are seeking a talented individual to support our clients bid writing efforts on a remote basis with occasional travel to East Yorkshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to impactful projects within the nuclear sector while enjoying the flexibility of remote work.



As an Interim Bid Writer, you will play a key role in the company’s tendering process, specifically focusing on nuclear tenders. Working closely with various stakeholders, you will be responsible for crafting compelling bids that showcase the company’s capabilities and secure valuable contracts. This is a 6-month contract position, offering a competitive day rate and falls outside IR35 regulations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather information and insights necessary for bid development.
  • Conduct thorough research on nuclear tender opportunities, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of client requirements.
  • Write, edit, and review bid content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and alignment with tender specifications.
  • Develop persuasive narratives that effectively communicate the company’s strengths, capabilities, and value proposition.
  • Coordinate with subject matter experts to incorporate technical information and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Manage multiple bids simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and maintaining a high standard of quality.
  • Provide support during the tender evaluation process, addressing any queries or requests for additional information.



Requirements:

  • Proven experience in bid writing, specifically within the nuclear sector.
  • Strong understanding of nuclear industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Exceptional research and analytical abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing competing priorities effectively.
  • Previous experience working remotely and willingness to travel to East Yorkshire occasionally, as required.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines.
  • Familiarity with tender management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
