Job Overview:
Are you ready to bring your industry expertise to the forefront? As a key player in our team, you’ll use your experience to craft detailed estimates for Client Projects. From cost assessments to work time estimates, your focus will be on ensuring customer satisfaction while maintaining existing contracts and fostering new client relationships.
Main Duties:
- Craft precise cost budgets and estimates for new contracts, showcasing your expertise in Building Cost Estimates from 33kV – 132kV.
- Familiarity with UK DNO’s requirements (G81) for Contestable Works is a plus, as well as knowledge of BOP works associated with Battery Storage Projects.
- Uphold consistency across all project estimates, communicating with clients effectively and adhering to company standards.
- Prepare compelling proposals, showcasing your attention to detail and understanding of client needs.
- Nurture existing client relationships while actively seeking out new opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with our Tendering Manager and Design Team to foster innovation and creativity in client projects.
- Maintain meticulous records of estimation documentation, ensuring deadlines are met and terms are clear.
- Liaise with various company departments to drive business development and generate profitable outcomes.
- Expect occasional site and client visits to enrich your understanding and strengthen relationships.
What We’re Looking For:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a dynamic engineering environment.
- HNC / HND qualification or equivalent industry experience.
- Strong commercial awareness and exceptional customer-facing skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, and Estimation software (Simpro preferred).
- Possession of a valid Driving License.
