As a Commercial Manager you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the commercial aspects of our business operations, particularly in the realm of facilities management. You will be responsible for managing complex contracts, ensuring adherence to service level agreements, and maximizing profitability while maintaining high-quality service delivery. Your expertise in hard services, contract administration, conflict management, pricing variations, SFG20 understanding, and risk management will be crucial in driving our commercial success


Key Responsibilities:

Contract Management:

  • Manage a portfolio of contracts for facilities management services, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and performance standards
  • Oversee contract negotiations, amendments, and renewals, striving to optimize terms and conditions while mitigating risks

Financial Management:

  • Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement
  • Lead pricing strategies and variations, conducting thorough analysis to support decision-making and ensure competitiveness in the market

Risk Management:

  • Identify potential risks and uncertainties associated with contract execution and business operations, implementing proactive measures to mitigate and manage risks effectively
  • Develop risk assessment frameworks and contingency plans to safeguard the organization’s interests

Client Relationship Management:

  • Cultivate strong relationships with clients, serving as the primary point of contact for commercial inquiries, escalations, and negotiations
  • Collaborate closely with the operational teams to understand client needs and address any issues or concerns in a timely manner

Team Leadership:

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to commercial and operational teams, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Conduct performance evaluations, set clear objectives, and support professional development initiatives for team members


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
  • Proven experience (X+ years) in commercial management, with a focus on facilities management and complex contracts
  • Strong understanding of hard services and technical aspects related to facilities management
  • Experience in managing pricing variations, financial analysis, and budgeting
  • Familiarity with SFG20 standards and best practices in the facilities management industry
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
