Contract Manager

Salary: Up to £65k plus car allowance

Location: Oxford

We are seeking a Contract Manager to join the team on a permanent, full-time basis (40 hours per week). You will play a crucial role in maintaining the operational integrity of the facility, ensuring the seamless functioning of all building systems, including HVAC, clean rooms, laboratories, and office spaces. This is a Total Facilities Management (TFM) contract, which also covers cleaning, catering, and grounds maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the financial performance of the contract
  • Ensure the team meets Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Oversee safety, health, environment, and quality (SHEQ) requirements, ensuring a safe workplace through risk management and proper procedures
  • Administer a Permit to Work system in line with client and company standards
  • Perform regular audits for legislative compliance and escalate issues as needed
  • Ensure maintenance and reactive tasks are completed and documented using the CAFM system
  • Ensure the cleaning team adheres to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards
  • Maintain a strong commercial understanding of client needs and deliverables
  • Foster positive collaboration with the operational team to drive performance and improvement initiatives
  • Attend monthly contract performance meetings and ensure actions are followed through
  • Drive revenue growth and cost-saving measures in collaboration with operational teams

Requirements:

  • Full, clean driver’s license
  • Recognized industry qualification in hard services
  • Experience managing TFM contracts within controlled environments
  • Familiarity with CAFM systems to manage engineering teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong client relationship skills
  • Willingness to participate in out-of-hours on-call rota and occasional late work
