Shift Engineer
Role: Day Shift Engineer
Based: Buckinghamshire
Salary: £50K – £55K
Clearance – DV Clearance (active or have lapsed in the last 6 months)
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of engineers on MOD projects.
Oversee the maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical and mechanical systems, also be hands-on when required.
Ensure compliance with all MOD regulations and standards.
Implement and adhere to safety protocols and procedures.
Coordinate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure project timelines and objectives are met.
Provide technical guidance and support to the engineering team.
Essential Requirements:
Clearance: High Level Security Clearance or recently lapsed High Level Security Clearance and be a UK Sole National
Background: Strong background in electrical and mechanical engineering.
Experience: Proven experience in leading a team of engineers.
Knowledge: Familiarity with Electrical Authorised Person (AP) responsibilities.
Standards: Understanding of JSB 375 standards.
Desired Skills:
Electrical AP: Certified or experience in Electrical Authorised Person responsibilities.
JSB 375: Experience with or knowledge of JSB 375 standards.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
