We are excited to be working with a prestigious client in the nuclear energy sector, looking for an experienced Interim Asset Manager to support a critical project. This contract role offers a unique opportunity for a highly skilled asset management professional to implement cutting-edge systems and lead initiatives to drive efficiency and reliability. The role is outside IR35, offering flexibility and an attractive daily rate.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation of an asset management system across nuclear facilities, ensuring alignment with industry regulations and best practices.
  • Drive the application of Smart Maintenance techniques and Criticality Analysis to prioritise asset performance and streamline maintenance processes.
  • Ensure the asset management system complies with ISO 55001 standards, facilitating smooth integration across operations.
  • Conduct risk assessments and asset criticality reviews to optimize maintenance strategies and reduce operational risks.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure successful system implementation and alignment with broader project objectives.
  • Analyse and report on asset performance data, offering insights to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Manage asset lifecycle activities, including procurement, maintenance scheduling, repair, and decommissioning processes.
  • Ensure compliance with nuclear safety regulations, health & safety standards, and environmental requirements in all asset management activities.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Extensive experience in asset management, ideally within the nuclear or energy industries.
  • Proven track record in the implementation of asset management systems and hands-on experience with Smart Maintenance and Criticality Analysis.
  • In-depth understanding of ISO 55001 and other relevant asset management standards.
  • Strong background in managing asset lifecycles and optimizing maintenance processes in a high-stakes environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work within highly regulated industries, ensuring strict compliance with safety and regulatory frameworks.
