Head Of Operations
We are partnering with a leading client to recruit an interim Head of Operations within their Housing Division. This position will play a pivotal role in contract transformation and in the improvement of internal operational practices.
Role Overview
As Head of Operations, you will oversee and streamline operational processes to enhance efficiency, drive performance, and ensure both internal and external stakeholder satisfaction. Understanding the operational nuances of public sector contracts and driving operational best practice will be critical.
You will also contribute heavily to creating a positive cultural change within the team to ensure they are supported and motivated, ensuring alignment with the company’s goals and values.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the operational transformation of the contract, ensuring a seamless transition to improved processes and systems.
Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring the highest standards of quality, health & safety, and compliance.
Develop and implement strategies to optimise service delivery, cost management, and resource allocation.
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure alignment with business goals and client satisfaction.
Identify areas for improvement and drive continuous enhancement in service quality and operational performance.
Manage and mentor a high-performing operations team, ensuring a culture of accountability and excellence.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
Experience: 9+ years in operational management of repairs and maintenance contracts. A background in facilities management, specifically housing, is a plus.
Skills: Excellent communication, stakeholder management, operational transformations and process improvements.
Knowledge: Repairs and maintenance, housing regulations, compliance, and maintenance practices.
